Happy December Praise Chapel Friends!
We hope you’re having a wonderful day as you prepare your hearts for Christmas. In December’s update, we’ll share more about our Christmas Services, New Year’s Eve, and some new things coming in 2024.
Christmas Services - This year, Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday. We’ll be having two services on Sunday morning, December 24th at 9:00 and 10:30 am. These will be family-friendly services, but we do plan on having the nursery available for those two years old and younger. After each service, we’ll enjoy some snacks, coffee, and hot chocolate.
New Year’s Communion Service - On Sunday morning December 31, we’ll be taking communion as part of our Sunday morning worship service. After communion, Pastor John Myers will be bringing the word.
January Ephesians Study - Starting in January, we’re thrilled to announce we’ll be studying the book of Ephesians. Paul writes to the church in Ephesus and expounds on what it truly means to be saved by grace and know the fullness of God’s love. The book is filled with spiritual insights, truths, and practical advice for the early church. For the first few weeks of the new year, we’ll be going through the book line-by-line as we try to understand God’s word and how it applies to us today.
February 4th - Vision Night - On February 4th, 2024, we gather for our Annual Vision Night. This is a special evening when we share what God has put on our hearts for the next year. Over the last few weeks, Sarah and I have been praying and talking a lot about what we feel God wants us to do. We feel like we have some direction and ideas and we’re eager to share them with you. Some of these ideas include Holy Spirit Nights, Outreach, as well as Alpha. We hope you’ll join us as we share what God has put on our heart for 2024!
